Bloomington South’s USI commit Chance Coyle represented the Panthers in the annual All Star Classic. Coyle had a phenomenal career at Bloomington South, finishing as the Panther’s all-time leading scorer. He also averaged just over 20 points per game during his senior season. Playing in the all-star game for his second year in a row was the cherry on top to a fantastic senior season. Optimist asked Coyle a few questions about his experience at the All Star Classic.
Q: How did it feel to represent your school in the all star game?
A: Not a lot of people have that honor, so it felt cool to be able to represent South.
In the All Star Classic, Coyle contributed to a 129-124 comeback win over the North squad as he paired up with future USI teammate Glen Rouch.
Q: Was it cool to get to play in an all star game in a state with such a strong basketball culture?
A: Yes. Anytime you get to play on a big stage in the state of Indiana it feels awesome. No other state does it like we do.
