The boy’s tennis team took the court Tuesday night and dominated in a Conference Indiana matchup against Southport. The Panthers (6-1, 2-1 in conference) took three quick points to start the night and finished off the sweep with two gritty singles wins from sophomore Marcell Borhi at 2 singles and senior Dexter Wu-Corts at 3. Wu-Corts had the toughest match of the night, where he fought to a 2-6, 6-4, (10-7) win.
With a victory over Southport, the team has already surpassed their five win record from the previous season, and will look to improve to 7-1 with a victory over their crosstown rival Bloomington North on Thursday.
