The Bloomington South boy’s soccer team traveled to enemy territory on Thursday night to face the Bloomington North Cougars. The Panthers (4-3) took care of business, shutting out their cross-town rivals and scoring four goals. Senior forward Carson Adams led the charge with two goals within four minutes of each other during the first half. The third goal would be a North own goal, where a defensive player headed the ball past the arms of Cougar goalkeeper Austin Himebaugh. The fourth and final goal came from Carson’s younger brother, junior Josh Adams, who put the ball in the back of the net towards the end of second half.
