Have you been looking for an opportunity to showcase your artistry lately? If so, you’re in luck. This year, for the first time ever, National Honor Art Society (NAHS) is hosting their very own version of the Met Gala on February 17th.
The Met Gala is a ball that celebrities attend in their top outfits to help fundraise money. Students are encouraged to create their own outfits using whatever materials they would like to use. The attire should fit under the theme of metamorphosis. There will be different categories to enter including traditional sewing and fine arts.
This Met Gala is a fundraiser for NAHS and will have a small entrance fee that will be announced closer to the date. Everyone is welcome to participate. If you are participating, you are strongly encouraged to start designing and constructing your outfits as soon as possible. If you have any additional questions feel free to talk to Catya Murray in the B wing. We can’t wait to see South students display their creativity.
