If you’re a fan of dancing and great music, come join BHSS Band’s Annual Swing Dance! The event includes live big-band music, a free dance class, and a newly added silent auction. The live music is contributed by South’s very own Jazz Bands program, and the free dance lesson is provided by Arthur Murray Dance Centers. The silent auction includes many sponsored items, such as a Lake Monroe boat rental or a Classic Lanes bowling party.
The event is on April 6th, Thursday, starting at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria. Tickets are available at the door for $10, and the silent auction has already started online on the BHSS band’s GiveButter page (https://givebutter.com/c/pVEW7g/auction). All proceeds go to South’s band program, supporting the program with funding for next year’s performances.
