Bathrooms are one of the most important places that need to be clean because multiple students use them every day. We went to students from South to hear their opinions.
South senior Grace Stringer believes that South bathrooms aren’t treated well. “I feel like there is trash all over the place and some people tend to leave the toilet with stuff in it.” Stringer provided some advice by saying that bathrooms should be treated as if they were students’ own.
Students should treat their bathrooms appropriately, because everyone uses the bathroom and custodians have to clean them. Custodians work after school and in the evening to keep our classrooms, bathrooms, and halls clean.
Senior Ben Walter said that the bathrooms are treated “half good and half bad.” Some examples of misbehavior include drawing on the stalls or walls.
Students should think before they start trashing the bathrooms because even if they might think it is acceptable, consequences of this will fall upon the hard working custodians of Bloomington South.
