Melissa Law, a secretary at Bloomington High School South, has left her position, her last day being March 14, 2025. She began working at South in 2019. Before working at South, she worked as a preschool teacher for three days a week.
She plans on moving to Westfield, Indiana where she will work with her husband on a farm. Also, moving there will allow her to be closer to her children who live near Indianapolis
While she was thinking about the memories she made at South, she said that the best part of the job was “seeing [and helping] students.” She will be deeply missed by her colleagues, including secretary Tonya Sturgis, who said “[she] will miss[Law’s] cheerful attitude toward everything and everyone.”
