South students shared their opinions about the new school start time. The length of the school day will be reduced by 20 minutes after this year and changed from its original time, 7:40 a.m. to 2:55 p.m., to 8:00 a.m. to 2:55 p.m.
“It’s cool… we get to sleep more,” sophomore Chance Coyle said.
“I really like it because it’ll be easier to get up,” freshman Leslie Campbell said.
“I think it’s pretty sweet!” Junior Emma O’Mahoney said.
“It will allow students to get more sleep in the morning,” sophomore Max Molt said.
“I like it because I feel like it’ll be more efficient,” freshman Jerica Lobenthal said.
