Many seniors played their final game on South’s soccer field Tuesday night. The team celebrated the hard work of the eight seniors before the varsity game: Meera Alderson, Sophie Keller, Wynne Milhouse, Allison Nussbaum, Bailey Silvers, Grace Stebbins, Julia Wood, and Reagan Knorr.
The Panthers defeated the Washington Lady Hatchets 1-0. The only goal of the game was scored by junior Emily Byrd in the 29th minute.
The team has had great success this season with a current record of 10-2-4, they are striving to be sectional champions. Sectionals start on October 3rd at Edgewood.
