This past Saturday morning the girls cross country team went to semi-state. Out performing their own expectations, they got second place, ensuring their spot at state . Junior, Tori Bomba said that the team was ” not expecting to do that great but [they] all had the mindset that [they] wanted to go to state.”
Bomba was second last year in state for the panthers, so she’s excited to see how she’ll do this year. But she also said that her motivation on Saturday was “dying [my] hair purple” if the team made state.
The girls will be running in state on October 29th in Terre Haute.
