Solarium Productions, an entirely student-led theater company, will be performing Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie this weekend. There will be three performances: Friday and Saturday, Dec. 9 and 10, at 7 pm and Sunday, Dec. 11 at 2 pm. The show will take place in the John Waldron Arts Center.
The group has been preparing for about two and a half months under the direction of South senior Adam Diersing.
Stage Manager and Chief Fundraiser Zoe Berensztein hopes that the performances will “bring Solarium more recognition with the general public.” Berensztein, a South junior, also said that “it’s really nice to have our own space,” mentioning that before moving to the theater, the group had to rehearse in a space shared with other members of the community.
Tickets can be purchased for The Glass Menagerie at the Buskirk Chumley Theater box office or online at http://www.bctboxoffice.com/
