The THEMESTER program has been a beloved part of our community for nine years now. THEMESTER is a themed series of events that occur over the course of a semester in partnership with the College of Arts and Sciences at IU. It is comprised of a series of presentations and performances all focused on one social issue or topic. This year’s THEMESTER topic is the topic of otherness, diversity, and differences.
The mission of THEMESTER is “to reveal hard truths and explore uncomfortable realities,” Cardinal Stage Company Board member Jean Robinson said.
This year Cardinal Stage Company is kicking of THEMESTER with a production of Frankenstein. This production is a new adaptation by Nick Dear of the old classic. All freshmen students, along with some theater students, will see “Frankenstein” Nov. 3.
Frankenstein will be playing playing October 27 – November 5 at the Buskirk-Chumley Theatre. Students can get $10 tickets when they use the promo code SCHOOL for the October 27-29 shows.
