Week 9 saw Leonard Fournette sidelined for missing a team photo, Josh McCown & Co. dominant over the Bills, and the high flying Eagles offense breaking 50 against the Broncos. Week 10 is upon us, meaning it’s time for fantasy owners to put everything on the line to make the playoffs. Logan Hanchett and J.T. Kelly will continue to deliver high quality fantasy football advice straight to your desktop.
Waiver Wire
QB: Josh McCown (34% owned @TB)
Desperate for a one week or season-long replacement? Look no further than seasoned veteran Josh McCown, who will continue his momentum against a struggling Buccaneers defense.
RB: Damien Williams (33% owned @CAR)
While Williams will be stuck competing for carries with Kenyan Drake, he’ll see the lion’s share of work on passing downs. Pick him up if you still have the chance.
WR: Ricardo Louis (1% owned @DET)
Louis likely will not give you an explosive game, however; he will get you something. Louis has seen 6 or more targets in 5 of the last 6 games.
TE: A.J. Derby (6% owned vs NE)
If your tight end is on a bye and you are in a pinch, look no further than Derby. He looks to be a solid option against a swiss cheese Patriot defense.
Breakouts
QB: Jared Goff (vs HOU)
Goff exploded for 28 points last week, and faces a similarly weak secondary this week.
QB: Russell Wilson (@ARI)
Wilson has performed incredibly well of late, and gets the depleted Cardinals secondary.
RB: Le’Veon Bell (@IND)
Bell is super good and faces the super bad defense this week.
RB: Orleans Darkwa (@SF)
Darkwa continues to get a lot of touches, and the 49ers have a notoriously bad defense.
WR: DeSean Jackson (vs NYJ)
With Evans out this week, Jackson has a good chance to breakout against the Jets.
WR: JuJu Smith-Schuster (@IND)
JuJu is coming off an explosive game where he caught passes for 193 yards and a tuddy, and will continue his momentum this week.
TE: Cameron Brate (vs NYJ)
Brate will bounce-back from his week 9 struggles as Mike Evans sits out.
Busts
QB: Philip Rivers (@JAC)
Philip Rivers plays Jacksonville’s secondary, need I say more?
RB: Devonta Freeman (vs DAL)
Freeman has struggled of late and gets the staunt Cowboys’ front seven this week.
WR: T.Y. Hilton (vs PIT)
The Colts offense has been historically bad in recent years against the Steelers defense.
TE: Charles Clay (vs NO)
Clay is coming off an injury to a Saints defense that punishes the tight end position.
