This Saturday, August 22, the City of Bloomington Sustainability and the Indiana University Office of Sustainability held their 5th annual Hoosier to Hoosier community sale. The sale, which takes place each year right before IU classes begin, aims to reduce the amount of reusable items that end up in landfills. All items are donated by students and dorms at the end of the year. In 2015, H2H had an estimated 8 semi-trucks worth of couches, futons, clothing, electronics, kitchen appliances, and more donated to sell. For more about Hoosier to Hoosier, click here.
